So far, so good!
I am very happy with these lightbulbs. I used them to replace a bedside lamp when the bulb burned out. These light bulbs give a nice, warm glow and are easy to install. They are sturdy and look to be good quality. Can’t speak to their longevity as I just installed one, but so far, so good. The price is pretty good for 6 bulbs. I am not using with a lamp where they can be dimmed

Works in Enclosed Fixtures
It is hard to find LED bulbs that work in fully enclosed fixtures. These 40W equivalent (5.7 watt bulbs) do. They produce a nice yellow light that resembles the light from incandescent bulbs. I was happy to replace the incandescent bulb in our bathroom fixture. The light is on for long stretches, and I was replacing the incandescent bulb every few months. They should be much, much longer lasting--we will have to see about that. I was concerned that 40W might not be enough light to read by, but it is fine. There are two important things to know if you are interested in these bulbs. The first is that only the 5.7 watt/40W equivalent can be used in fully enclosed fixtures. The 15.5Watt/100 watt equivalent apparently produces too much heat to be used in fully enclosed fixtures. The second thing to know is that company uses the same box to ship both bulbs. That means that there is nothing written on the box about suitability for enclosed fixtures. However, suitability for fully enclosed fixtures is written right on the 5.7 watt bulb--a place I did not think to look. I had to write to the company to confirm that these bulbs could be so used.

Doesn't fit a lot of bases, really yellow ![User picture]()
So this one won't fit my garage door opener either! It only screws in about a turn or so before it bottoms out on the rim of the socket rather than the base. Even for the one I show it in here, I had to pry up the center contact to even be able to test the bulb. For some reason, LED bulbs have diverged from early ones that matched the profile of glass bulbs and it's making it hard to find ones that fit some fixtures.Beyond that, this is pretty yellow. Definitely not what I would consider "soft white". It also doesn't make a lot of sense for a 100 W equivalent bulb to be so yellow, unless it's a bug light, but then this isn't yellow enough. A 100 W incandescent bulb is typically going to be very bright and white, but this is neither.
